Derive Streaming Files for Older Shows |
I'm wondering if it is possible to derive older shows in a band collection that were uploaded before the streaming function was added. This might have to involve admins re-deriving shows without original uploaders being involved. And, I'm also wondering how to deal with shows that I uploaded under a previous username/email address that I no longer have access to.
Thanks,

Re: Derive Streaming Files for Older Shows |
Yes, that's possible to do. For shows that you uploaded (and therefore have access to), click the "Edit item" link, scroll to the bottom and choose the radio button for "allow derivatives". That should kick off a derive task. If not, go back to "Edit item", then "Item manager" and "derive".
For shows you no longer have access to, just email your new and old email addresses to etree@archive.org and we can have them moved over to your new address so you can re-access them.
For shows you didn't upload yourself, just email us a list and we can take care of the derivations, as long as you're the taper/convertor. We obviously won't derive shows that were taped by other people against their wishes, but for shows you were involved with, we're happy to help!
